Tamworth Dietetics Clinic

 

Is a free dietetic service providing outpatient clinics and small group education, which includes medical nutrition therapy involving assessment, counselling, development of nutrition care plans, individualised education and follow up. Case types may include (but not exclusive) paediatric dietetics, cardiology, endocrine issues, respiratory issues, neurology, failure to thrive, food allergy and intolerance, cystic fibrosis, obesity, underweight, reflux, gastrointestinal issues, oncology issues, oral and enteral nutrition etc.


Referral Eligibility Criteria 

Health professional referral required.


Referral Exclusion Criteria 

Nil.


Who can refer?

Referrals are accepted from medical practitioners and other health professionals, which are triaged on medical urgency. Subspecialty clinics must be referred by a paediatrician for first visit, except paediatric surgery where GP’s can refer directly.
