Armidale Child Protection Counselling

Armidale Child Protection Counselling Service provides specialist counselling and casework services to children, young people and their families/carers where abuse has been identified by Family and Community Services (FACS), the Joint Investigation Reponses Team (JIRT) and/or the Children’s Court.

Interventions are child focused (child’s needs the priority) and family centred (focuses on children in the context of their families), with the aim to address and stop and the effects of abuse and neglect and exposure to domestic violence on children and young people.
