Armidale Sexual Assault Counselling

The Sexual Assault Counselling Service provides:

Psychological counselling and related support services to child and adult victims of sexual assault
Services are provided to both women and men
Services are provided to victims of recent sexual assault and to victims of past sexual assault
Psychologists at the service specialise in trauma counselling and tailor services to meet the individual needs and wishes of each client
Referrals are taken from a range of sources and victims may refer themselves
All support is confidential, and respectful of the needs and wishes of each client
Counselling is provided on an appointment basis, between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday
24/7 sexual assault crisis support is also provided to assist victims of recent sexual assault, which can be accessed through the Hospital Emergency Department .
