Genetics Counselling Service

 

The Genetic Counselling Service provides assessment, counselling and advice to individuals and families about issues such as:

  • The diagnosis of a rare disorder in a child
  •  The chance that you will develop a condition affecting other family members
  • Passing a condition on to your child
  • The cause of a serious disorder in a family member
  • Becoming a parent when you are in your mid 30’s or older
  • Family history of cancers

There is no charge for this service.
