The Children, Young People and Families Directorate of Hunter New England Local Health District integrates a range of health care services designed to meet the ever-changing health needs of babies, children, young people and their families across the Hunter New England region.

This single network brings together a number of acute facilities, including a children's hospital, that provides specialised treatment for children and young people. Outside the hospital setting are a number of community based facilities that provide a number of preventative, early intervention and rehabilitation services.
